Padul: The Gateway to Lecrin

Padul is a major town in the Lecrin Valley and not just a town but a gateway to the beautiful Lecrin valley. There was a time when the people of this small town in Andalucia claimed their independence from Spain but the so-called independence lasted not more than a week and today it is one of the most beautiful places in Costa Tropical. One of the most important industries in Padul is the agricultural industry and people here thrive on agriculture as well as construction. Tourism is a close third.
