May 13th, 2009 | By Captain Chaos | Category: Golf NutzFinals day of the ‘Knock Out Plate’ saw ‘Trigger’ and ‘Two Strokes’ demolish team ‘Cod ‘n Chips’/ ‘Mr. McKay’ by 3 & 2. The rest of us losers passed the time by letting our leader win the Stapleford with 39 points, followed by ‘Wishbone’ a.k.a. ‘Ghandi’ on 38.
‘Marigold’ would have done better than his 35 points but he had a bad back as a direct result of having had to cash his rain check in with interest. Apart from that, very little else exciting happened, so we had a couple of beers and went home.
