The 30 square metre flag was stolen from its mast in Granada city this Monday
A British youngster is one of four people who have been arrested for the theft in Granada of the 30 square metre flag of Spain from the mast where it flies in the city centre, on the Avenida de la Constitución.
The 20 year old was with a man from Motril and two others from Hospitalet de Llobregat, in Barcelona, when he was arrested nearby in the early hours of Monday.
Europa Press said the group told police they’d simply found the flag and had nothing to do with its theft.
