  • Why the Costa Tropical?

You will get 325 days of sunshine every year. Second to sunshine are the alluring beaches that are spread all along the coastline.

The beaches of Andalucía are famous for being some of the cleanest in the world. People come and fall in love with the beaches around 26 of them and then they see the nice little cottages and sprawling villas close to the 19km coastline and beaches. The temptation of owning a villa with a private beach is too big. Owning a beachfront home is by itself a temptation enough and the real estate market around the Andalucian coastline is not as expensive as it is in Madrid, Spain or any other popular tropical paradise like the Caribbean’s.
Weather: The weather is quite good with warm and short winters and hot summers. The average temperature is around 20°C.
Landscape: The landscape is inspiring and there is natural beauty everywhere. One of the most interesting thing is that thousands of acres of this landscape has been protected under nature reserves to preserve not only the beautiful landscape but also the micro-habitats within the landscape, which includes both flora and fauna. Some of the most beautiful flowers here are the wild ones that are known as Peña Escrita, which grows in abundance in Almunecar.

Activities: There are plenty of activities that you can enjoy in Costa Tropical. One of the most popular activities is skiing on the pistes of Sierra Nevada that has the distinction of hosting the 1996 World Alpine Ski Championships. Some of the other activities that you can enjoy include snorkeling, scuba diving, horse riding, hang-gliding, water sports, and fishing.

Developments: There has been quite a lot of economic activity that includes urbanization on the outskirts and housing developments focused on the mid-range section, which includes modern apartments, spacious townhouse, as well as detached and semi-detached villas. There is a new motorway that has will complete the A7 Mediterranean Motorway and is expected to complete by end of 2009. The motorway and other development plans are expected to bring up several opportunities for the growth of new businesses and increase the amount of options for foreign investors.

Real Estate: One of the main factors that have increased property investment in Costa Tropical is the low cost of living. There are bars, restaurants and other areas like travel and transportation but they are not expensive as compared to other parts of Spain.

These are some of the main reasons although there are many more for relocating to this beautiful sub-tropical paradise on the Mediterranean.
